Allyson Kukel

Head of Airline Engagement, Halldale

“Aviation found me” is the way Allyson likes to describe how she got into the Aviation Industry. Allyson joined Fokker Elmo in the Netherlands in 2007 and went on to oversee various international projects included at their production facility near Beijing. In 2010 she joined Rockwell Collins working at Bombardier in Montreal, for the C-Series, CRJ, Learjet, and Global jet programs. The experience she gained inspired her to join the fledging Sim Industries once again in the Netherlands, in the fall of 2013. She assumed various roles as the company evolved into Lockheed Martin CFT and then was divested to CAE. At CAE she was responsible for the whole of Africa, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg as Regional Sales Manager for Civil Aviation Training (CAT) and Global Manager A220 Customers for the CAE | LAT joint venture Flight Training Alliance (FTA). Allyson was able to exceed business objectives and deliver outstanding results, through her keen ability to engage with customers, understand training needs, and taking into account cultural nuances. Furthermore, at FTA her contributions allowed the business to grow from a “start-up” to a consolidated sustainable business. During this time Allyson was also business process owner (BPO) for the CAT Customer Portal, streamlining customer digital communication and working directly with airline customers and the greater CAT global network. Allyson completed her dissertation on The impact of digitalization on workplace teams – a study of aviation training during the Corona pandemic. Most recently Allyson Co-Chaired the Halldale Global ATS event and the Halldale Leader Forum. Allyson is a self-described aviation geek with a passion for people and the environment. She grew up in California and has lived in several countries across three continents, working with a large swath of the world, she now resides in the Netherlands.
