  • Started my work life in Banking
  • Economist by training
  • Joined Aviation working as Check-in agent in Mombasa, Kenya
  • After 3 years left Operations having managed the team that handles charter (Blue panorama, LTU, Livingstone etc) for Kenya Airway (KQ)
  • 1 year in Revenue Management
  • 3 years in Planning (Network Planning) launching couple of destinations
  • Conducted feasibility studies in AMD, BLR, MAA, ABV, ASM, BEY, MAK, DEL, TUN and TIP
  • Left in Feb 2012 to Qatar Airways
  • Lead analyst for Qatar Airways responsible for growth America’s
  • Launched PHL, MIA and DFW and later ZNZ, ASM and DUR
  • After 3 years joined Sales as Business Development Manager for Africa
  • Budget setting, sales performance and distribution
  • 16 countries and 23 stations in Africa
  • Took over region in 2017/18
  • Oversaw Africa operations during the Qatar blockade including pilgrims repatriation and closing down of Egypt operations
  • Returned to Kenya Airways in Jul 2018 as Head of Network Planning and Alliances

  • New destinations growth and frequencies expansion for both KQ and QR
  • Compilation of Chairman statement for Annual Financial report 2009/2010
  • SIS achievement for Qatar Airways financial year 2014/15
  • Illegal blockade management and cooperation with partners
  • Being part of team that successfully started JV with Royal Air Maroc
