Chief Executive Officer, Ravinala Airports
Patrick Collard, 65, has held several positions in French press groups.
From 1997 to 2005, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Télérama S.A., then Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of its advertising sales subsidiary Publicat. From 2005 to 2008, he served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the daily newspaper Le Monde and at the same time as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Le Monde Publicité S.A and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Le Monde Imprimerie S.A. In 2008, he joined the La Dépêche du Midi Group as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, before being appointed, in May 2009, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Radio France, a position he left at the end of 2012.
Patrick COLLARD joined the Executive Committee of the ADP Group (Aéroports de Paris) as Director of the Office of the Chairman and CEO. ADP is a company that excels in the design, construction, operation and development of airport platforms in France and abroad.
In 2018, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Ravinala Airports, a Malagasy company owned by Meridiam (45%), ADP (35%), Bouygues (10%) and Colas (10%) to which the Republic of Madagascar has granted a 28-year concession, starting in December 2016, for the financing, design, construction, renovation and operation of the Ivato and Nosy Be airports.
In addition, Patrick Collard is also a director of the Long Thibaud Crespin Foundation, vice-president of the UAF (Union des Aéroports Français et Francophones), director of the Aeroclub de France and member of the Executive Council of the GEM (Groupement des Entreprises de Madagascar).
