Networking Tour 4 - Religious Tour - Aula Grial, Saint Nicolás Church and the Cathedral
Meeting point at C/ Cabillers, 6
The tour begins with the visit of the Museum Aula Grial: it is a museum about the history of the Holly Grail preserved in the Cathedral of Valencia, that could have been in the table of the Last Supper. A five sense experience: to smell spices, to get dressed with monk habits or Templar clothings, to burn some incense while you are travelling through history. Either if you are a believer or not, this is a fascinating and interactive tour with the five senses.
The tour will continue to Saint Nicolas Church, an 18th century church with over 4.00square metres of recently restored frescoes, an impressive work that has earned it the nickname of the Valencian Sistine Chapel. The tour will continue to the Valencia Cathedral, built on the site of a roman temple, later a mosque, it dates back to the 13th century. The mix of architectural styles, from Romanesque to Barroque, can be seen in each of its three doors: the main door or Puerta de los Hierros, is Barroque, the Puerta de los Apóstoles is Gothic and the Puerta del Palau is Romanesque. There are wonderful views of the city from the Cathedral’s Miguelete belfry, after climbing up the tower’s 207 steps.

The Aula Capitular has a capacity of 80 people and is allocated to screenings, conferences and press conferences. This monastic complex, which gives its name to the historic Barrio del Carmen neighbourhood, has been the venue for international events including the America’s Cup, Telva, Valencia Fashion Week and Porcelanosa, among others. Ideal venue for stylish events in an original and distinguished setting.
