President of Turismo Valencia and Deputy Major at Valencia City Council
Sandra Gómez López. Deputy Major and spokesperson at the València City Council and Secretary of the Socalist Party PSPV-PSOE from València.
She is also a Councellor at the Valencia City Council in the area of economic development and sustainability and she is the spokesperson of the PSPV-PSOE municipal group.
She grew up in the neighbourhood of ''els Poblats Maritims'' from València, in the district of Cabanyal-Canyamelar, where she has been involved in the cultural and festive movement of her neighbourhood.
During her youth, she was equally involved in the Juvenile Associative Movement becoming later on the president of the Youth Council of the València Region.
She has a degree in Law and Business Administration from the University of València. Her graduate training was carried out in the procedural department at Gómez-Acebo & Pombo Lawyer’s buffet and later on she joined the J&A Garrigues Lawyer’s Buffet.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Law organized by Garrigues Centro de Estudios and Harward University. Later on she founded her own law firm Gómez Belenguer Abogados. During this professional stage she has litigated complex cases related to offences against the Public Administration as Gürtel or Nóos.
During her work as Deputy Major and President of Valencia Tourism she has always had as a priority the development from Valencia Airport in order to consolidate the growth from tourism and local economy.
